Proper Way to Swing a Golf Club
The proper way to swing a golf club is
much-debated and rarely mastered without a lifetime of practise
and improvement.
Your proper way to swing a golf club begins with a proper
stance. This is the foundation of your game, so if you don't
get the foundation right, then your chances of everything else
being right are not good at all.
Stand relaxed and erect with your feet
shoulder-width apart.
This places your center of gravity squarely between both
feet for maximum stability and power.
Focus on the ball with your eyes alone, making sure your
head faces out ahead and not down.
Keep your arms loose and relaxed, your legs should have the
slightest bend in them so the knees aren't locked rigid. Your
spine should be straight but your buttocks pushing back
slightly.
The proper way to swing a golf club is to stand in front of
a mirror and practise, making sure you are relaxed. Being loose
is everything.
Just watch a tape of Tiger Woods or Greg Norman and keep
that image in your mind's eye as you work on imitating them.
They both know the proper way to swing a golf club.
